- To ensure that all staff are constantly trained to effect good portion control and pleasing presentation of all dishes
- To ensure that all areas under your control satisfy the most stringent hygiene requirements and that staff who are ill or injured receive the correct treatment or are not allowed to work
- To ensure that all stocks are ordered to the correct quantities, quality, and price
- Assist Executive Chef with Staff discipline

Required Skills
- professional cookery
Candidate Requirements
- Matric/ Grade 12 essential
- Professional Cookery Certificate
- Chef background & training preferred
- Strong food skill/knowledge required
- Experience in managing A la Carte Kitchen
- Excellent customer relations & interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Staff management abilities
- Computer literate with Excel, Word & E-mail experience
- Good administrative and organizing skills
- High attention to standards and details
- Own vehicle & Driver’s license preferred
