Male between the ages of 30 and 50
Grade 12 or equivalent
Drivers license (minimum code 08)
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Afrikaans.
Have own reliable transport.
Trade tested Fitter and Turner (or equivalent)
Atleast 5 years’ experience in the same or similar role with in the construction and yellow plant industry
Ability to operate a lathe and milling machine with a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience.
Ability to read drawings and order materials/parts.
Knowledge of hydraulics will be an advantage.
Ability to work long hours if required, and work out of town temporarily if required.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Have Clear criminal record (Criminal Check will be conducted).
Must be Medically fit (Medical examination will be conducted).
Working hours will be accordance to days and hours as operationally required, which is generally from Monday to Saturday. Mon - Fri 7:00 – 17:00 and Saturday’s 7:00 and 14:00. However, work outside of these days and hours will be mandatory should there be an operational need.
