Top Automotive plastic components manufacturing firm seeks Senior Quality Engineer - Automotive IATF. To drive quality and ensure adherence to IATF quality standards. 
 
Non-Negotiables (We will check):

*  5 years Automotive Quality Systems (IATF, ISO, Q1, VDA etc...)
*  5 years Defect Management - PFMEA, Control Plans, 5 Whys, G8D
*  5 years Statistical Process Control
*  5 years Building Relationships with OEMs

*  Meticulous and Patient
 
What the person must be able to do:
 
This role is in the Automotive plastic components manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.
 
*  Quality System Development and Improvement (IATF, Q1, VDA etc...) 
*  Quality System Administration
*  Quality Audits (Internal and Supplier)
*  Defect Management PFMEA, Control Plans, 5 Whys, G8D
*  Building relationships with OEMs
 
Key Job Deliverables:
 
*  Optimise Quality Process 
*  Ensure Staff Compliance to Quality Process 
*  Ensure Quality Process Complies with IATF, Q1, VDA etc... 
 
Qualifications & Background work experience:
 
*  National Diploma Quality or BTech Quality
 
*  Optimise and ensure compliance to Quality Standards like IATF, Q1 & VDA
*  Prevent and Manage defects using tools like PFMEA, Control Plans, 5 Whys, G8D
*  Utilise SPC to reduce defect rates and ensure process compliance
*  Develop close working relationships with OEMs like Ford, BMW, Toyota & VW
*  Advantageous: Specific experience in plastics or injection moulding
 
Personality Summary: 
 
* High Analytical - Strong with analysis, metrics, data and fact based decision making. 
* Moderate Administrative - Good with procedures, processes and best practices.
