Our client in the retail industry requires the service of a Stock Planner to manage the Supply Chain by optimizing inventory mix in the DC through effective management of key supplier accounts and product ranges.

Key performance areas:

Data analysis and reporting
Facilitate all products through the supply chain until the shelf
Promotional planning and replenishment
Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
Product lifecycle management
Place supplier purchase orders to ensure correct inventory and service
Maintain service level deliverables
System coordination of supplier accounts in order to optimize most profitable ordering patterns / frequency
Forecasting exception management
Project Management

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

Matric with a relevant Degree for example: Supply Chain or Logistics
Up to 2 years forecasting experience would be advantageous
Experience in an FMCG environment is advantageous
Computer Literacy - MS Office, especially Excel - Pivot Tables
SAP Knowledge is desirable
Proven problem solving skills
Highly numerate and have an eye for detail
