Rapidly growing and successful Business and Software Solutions company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for for software solutions and sales. Previous experience with software sales is essential.
Build financial and life cycle analyses to quantify value from the customer’s perspective on all software opportunities.
Develop proposal generation and presentation as well as co-ordinating the demonstrations and installations as well as any future required development for the customers’ needs.
Deliver impactful and professional presentations.
Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with the purpose of gaining the client’s trust and delivering value added service always looking to expand on the software offerings to the clients.
Work with customers and outside sales to provide a high level of customer service, bearing application engineering and overall sales support.
Technical review of customer requirements and specifications on a regular basis including up to date business intelligence and customer centric focus on application requirements to add value.
Compiling costing and preparation of customer quotations and proposals.
Expand existing account opportunities and consultative applications.
Support new product and software offering initiatives and participate in marketing opportunities.
Call on clients both existing and new for continual sales opportunities as well as continuing to chase down existing proposals for closure.
Present new product introductions.
Coordinate demonstrations at clients arising from sales of the software offerings.
Ability to comprehend and use sales data in presentations.
Participate in trade shows/product launch as directed by management.
Meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
Assisting with pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and completing business analysis or promote products and services offered by the company.
Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
Maintaining a database of contact and client information.
Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better sales experience.
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
Servicing of existing base customers as per the base report provided.
Any other sales related functions that might be required of you from time to time.
Signing and resigning of software contracts and/or all contractual paperwork relating to sales and all sales contracts.
Upgrading clients on the existing base by providing them with value added solutions and continually assessing the customer’s environment for best fit solution.
