A focus client of mine, based in Nelspruit is seeking an Immediately Available Finance Manager to join their growing team. The right in cumbent will need experience with the Full Accounting function, cross boarder experience in the SADC region.
Bcom Accounting/ Finance
7 Years Experience
3 Years in a Finance Manager Role
Preperation of AFS
Accounts payable and Receivable (Days payable and Days Receivable metrics)
Cashbook entries and Reconciliations
Assist the Finance Director with the day to day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting / Finance Department.
Manage/Oversee the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures.
Managed the recording of revenue receivable and payable
Work closely with the Sales Force to ensure data is given on time.
Perform the processing of functional and benefits expense allocations, monthly accruals, recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries
Prepare the monthly forecast to actual variance reports
Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, accruals, customer, and supplier statements etc.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as Management Accounts.
Preparing annual Financial Statements
Liaising with external auditors and ensuring all statutory filings are complete
Liaising with banks
SARS – all VAT/IVA, PAYE/INSS, Company tax etc.
Preparing tax returns
Insurance and Group cover
Preparation and maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
Balancing of Inter-Company Accounts
