My client, a leading financial services company, is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join their team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have extensive experience within retirement funds and the administration thereof, with a specific focus on section 14 transfers.
* Log any transfers on internal database * Complete all relevant Section 14 documentation for transfers * Once the S14 application is received, check that the information is correct and prepare the transferee fund forms. * Submit the signed application to the FSCA * Deal with any relevant FSCA queries * Follow-up on payments regularly until payments for all members included on the transfer application has been received
* Relevant tertiary qualification * Minimum 2 years experience working within the employee benefits and insurance industry * Working knowledge of pension funds, income tax and long term insurance acts
