  • A qualification as a Post-Basic Pharmacist’s Assistant (Institutional Sector)
  • Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as a Pharmacist’s Assistant (Post-basic)
  • At least 1 to 3 years’ experience
  • Administrative experience in a clinic
  • A valid Code EB driver’s licence will be an advantage

Candidate Requirements

Key Performance Areas:

  • Assist in managing and controlling pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical stock by ordering, receiving and checking requisitions
  • Store pharmaceutical products
  • Monitor and maintain stock
  • Dispense and check pharmaceutical products and provide instructions regarding the use of medication
  • Perform administrative functions as required
  • Work under indirect supervision at 1 or more sites.
