Gromor, part of the TWK Agri Group, has the following vacancy available: Manager (Admin) at Umlaas Road, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities and Duties



  • Provide sales and customer support

  • Handle sales orders and invoicing

  • Prepare accurate and professional quotes

  • Follow up on outstanding quotes

  • Ensure that orders are placed timeously to facilitate manufacturing

  • Ensure that product codes, delivery dates and pricing are correct on sales orders

  • Co-ordinate with the production and logistics departments

  • Liaise with the debtor's clerk on overdue accounts

  • Assist new and existing customers whom call or walk-in

  • Determine the technical requirement of the customers

  • Cashing up, handling petty cash and preparation of banking

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership and management of the admin team, including monitoring staff requirements

  • Identify and facilitate training and development programs for personnel

  • HR & SHEQ duties will include accurate record keeping and ensuring adherence to the company’s policies and procedures.

  • Implementation and adherence to the equity plan, and SHEQ audit findings

  • Ensure all record keeping is aligned with the companies record management system

  • Ongoing monitoring of the monthly budget to assist management with timeous decision making

  • Oversee and provide support with co-ordination of delivery of raw materials, GRN’s, cost price adjustments, placement and follow up of orders and claims for returns.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure orders are placed timeously for stock replenishment.

  • Identify and manage alternate technologies or methods for organizational systems and controls to support the accomplishment of goals as set out by management.

  • Identify risk areas and adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements

  • Provide active and supportive leadership to the admin team and nurture inter-departmental relationships.

  • Timeous provision of accurate financial reporting to management




Qualifications and Skills



  • Matric / Grade 12

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (advantageous)

  • Fertilizer background / knowledge (advantageous)

  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Good understanding of accounting principles, including debtors, creditors, production and banking

  • Strong administrative skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication skills
