The main purpose of the Systems Integration Specialist is to enable and manage file trasnfer between banks.

-          Manage and control individual and relevant intervention, project and programme costs

  • Develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships
  • Deliver on internal and external stakeholder requirements/SLA’s

DELIVERY OF BUSINESS PROCESSES / PROJECTS

Strategic Alignment

  • Contribute to and deliver on BU goals and activities aligned to strategy

Initiative/ projects for continuous improvement

 

  • Demonstrate innovative thinking in area of expertise and translate this into business process/ solutions/ working practice improvements
  • Deliver client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with line manager

File Management

  • Maintain software and relationships with third party vendors.
  • Ensure that all system patches and upgrades are identified and applied timeously

System Management

  • Manage the overall delivery of respective components across vendors & internal IT parties according to specification
  • System integration development based on specific requirements
  • Core system upgrades and maintenance
  • 24/7 Support of all delivery applications

COMPLIANCE AND RISK

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Policies and procedures: Provide input into relevant policies and procedures
  •  Compliance: Comply with relevant policies & procedures, regulation and legislation
  • Risk: Identify, mitigate and escalate risks appropriately

Skills transfer and support

  • Mentor team members to ensure skills transfer  and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Ensure self and  team stay abreast of technical skills and industry developments

 


Candidate Requirements

  •  Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science
  • Knowledge in Java, .Net Frameworks, Apache Tomcat, XML would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in File Management
