JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure the successful implementation and management of insurance in terms op Property, Investment and Development.

This job is focused on the retention and profitable growth of the broker portfolio through the development and management of strong relationships with intermediaries and internal business partners.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support sales strategy and business plan for the individual broker
  • Establish and manage strong relationships with brokers including business managers
  • Awareness of competition and market information
  • Monthly analysis of figures down to broker level
  • Report on Broker Services targets, new potential products and growth.
  • Portfolio budgeting in conjunction with short-term targets

Candidate Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric Qualification/Grade 12
  • Insurance related qualification will be advantageous (short-term/long-term) / RE5
  • Sound knowledge of Administrative responsibilities within the Insurance/Property Industry and the will to grow towards a Representative / Broker
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a property/ insurance environment
  • Sales experience in the financial sector
