Internal Sales Consultant – Montague Gardens / CAPE TOWN


A leading hardware retailer is in need of an enthusiastic and meticulous Internal Sales Consultant.

2 year minimum building sales experience


Main responsibilities of the position, but not limited to:

  • Assisting customers at all times with their building materials requirements

  • Ensuring that stock levels are maintained at all times

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • Quotations

  • Dealing with customer queries and providing customers with solutions

  • Taking telephonic orders

  • Pricing & costing

  • Ensuring that agreed delivery times are met – liaising with drivers

  • Assisting with loading of customer goods when required



  • Matric

  • 2 years retail sales experience, in building / construction environment.

  • Melamine board cutting and selling experience is essential

  • Preferably valid code 8 driver’s license –not essential

  • Clear Credit and Criminal History – as per our clients requirements

  • Computer Knowledge (Word and Excel)



Salary  - Negotiable on experience
