Our mining client in the Northern Cape is currently recruiting a well qualified Chief Surveyor.

 


 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:


  ·         Grade 12 (Required);


  ·         GCC Mine Surveying (Required);


  ·         National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Mine Surveying (Required);


 ·          B. Degree in Mine Surveying or Advanced Diploma (NQF level 7) in Mine Surveying (Alternative);


 ·          National Higher Diploma (NQF level 7) in Mineral Resource Management (Advantageous);


 


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


 


·          Business intelligence and trend analysis;


  ·         Functional process optimisation;


  ·         Survey Risk Management and control;


 ·         Promote and enforce compliance


 ·         Plan, implement, control and monitor approved changes;


 ·         Plan, direct and assess Quality Management;


 ·         Provide data, resource and survey information;


 ·         Control and measure final production figures, declare validated mine and harbour figures;


 ·         Implement operations effectiveness model and practice;


 ·         Provide input into functional planning;


 ·         Remain up to date with micro-and macro conditions and changes;


 ·         Implement cost control systems;


 ·         Establish and maintain relations with internal and external clients.
