Our client is a large organization that has a community development programme: they are seeking to employ a Programme Manager: Infrastructure i.e (buildings/clinics/schools) etc. The role is a 5 year contract position - based in Northern Cape

Job Purpose:

  • Design,implement and monitor high impact and sustanable community based projects in line with an appropriate approved strategy.

  • The candidate will be based in Kathu,Northern and will support for the company project in the area as well as Thabazimbi,Limpopo.

  • The infrastructure projects cut across all key focus areas of the company namely,Enterprise Development,Education,Health and Welfare

Key Performance Areas :

  • Provide input review of the company social investment strategy

  • Lead the development of an appropriate infrastructure strategy in accordance to the Social Investment Strategy and the requirements of the company benecificiary communities

  • Develop an appropriate approved projects pipeline

  • Design, package and submit for approval, Infrastructure project funding proposals to relevant governance structures of the Trust

  • Monitor and allocate Infrastructure project expenses appropriately and assess expenditure and resolve gaps

  • Support identification, implementation, and development of processes t optimise cost efficiency

  • Provide specialised technical/professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives

  • Plan, organise , lead and control subordinates'activities to ensure healthcare objectives are met or exceeded.

  • Manage people development initiatives and people development processes such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to meet performance standards

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures 

  • Ensure remedial actions are implemented timeously to address non-conformances

  • Document all Infrastructure project portfolio records, dataand information as it relates to projects approval, implementation, and risk management spending and stakeholder engagement

Qualification Required:

  • NQF Level 7, 3 year degree/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction Management (Essential)

  • NQF Level 6 Diploma / Advance Certificate in Project Management(Essential)

  • NQF Level 7, 3 year Degree / Adanced Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (Advantageous)
