Job Description


Our client based in Randburg, is a leading distributor of a variety of fresh and frozen food products, who has a position available for an Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager is responsible for;

  • Replenishment
  • Health and Safety
  • Maintenance
  • Reporting
  • Customer Service
  • Overseeing the Transport, Warehouse, Production and Customer Service departments
  • Facility and site inspections
  • Housekeeping
  • Stock take preparations
  • Storage
  • Routing assistance
  • Driver route training
  • Managing warehouse damaged stock control budgets
  • Generator inspections and maintenance
  • Vehicle licenses, roadworthy’s and fines
  • Insurance management – managing accident claims, property and vehicles
  • Overseeing security
  • Training of all new staff
  • Food safety compliance
  • Full cooperation with QC Manager

Candidate Requirements


Minimum of Matric. Tertiary qualification will be an advantage. Must be computer literate, Syspro experience will be an advantage


Minimum of 5-years experience in Operations / Warehousing Management Minimum of 3-years experience within the FMCG Foods industry. Must have inbound, outbound, finished goods warehousing experience. Raw Materials Management Must have excellent numerical abilities.
