Our client, a well-established high-end property development and construction management company, seeks to employ a qualified Chartered Accountant, for their newly established division, within Cape Town, but managing projects nationally.

We would require a senior candidate, who has proven experience in the property development and construction sector, with a portfolio of Asset Management projects, Property Development feasibility studies and your working history will demonstrate you are a "protector of project profitability".

You will have completed your degree and be registered as Chartered Accountant, plus 5-10 years relevant and experience in the following: -

  • Providing strategic leadership within Corporate Services
  • Contributing strategy, planning and reporting processes across the company
  • Ensuring good governance and compliance within the property development sector
  • Plan and oversee the drafting and formulation of the financials for reporting to the Board of Directors
  • Developing overall corporate policies and/or proposals, making recommendations and presenting these to the Board for approval
  • Overseeing and directing the rendering of efficient business operations.
  • Managing operational performance, operations processes, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensuring adherence to and compliance with relevant legislations and statutory requirements.
  • Developing and implementing systems/tools for the execution, monitoring and completion of projects in different regions
  • Preparing, managing and monitoring the capital and operational budget and control of the company.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate stakeholder relations
  • Interact with management and business unit seniors to ensure SLAs have been met and contracts managed appropriately.
  • Manage overall productivity and profitability of the company
