Sales/Office Manager (KMT017)

Moddertontein

R20 000 – R25 000 per month CTC

 

Well established perishables manufacturing and distribution company based in Modderfontein is currently sourcing a Sales / Office Manager to join their team.

Previous experience dealing with retail outlets and bakeries advantageous but not required

 

Duties:

·         Looking for a naturally positive leader who can motivate, energize and inspire a team

·         Motivate the sales team to achieve results.

·         Set benchmarks and develop reporting metrics that improve sales performance over the short, medium and long term.

·         Play a role in improving customer service levels within the department

·         Implement and ensure adoption of the CRM system.

·         Coach and develop all members of the sales team and this includes team and individual meetings, appraisals and where necessary addressing performance related issues.

·         Work in partnership with the management of the company on sales strategy in order to deliver sustainable sales growth.

·         Deal with incoming sales and customer enquiries including queries, orders, returns and credits.

·         Lead by example

·         Ensure that calling schedules are adhered to and assist with vetting of new customers and distributors.

·         Strategic thinker who is able to think outside the box and identify sales opportunities.

·         Experienced in mentoring a team to achieve improved results.

 

Requirements

·         MS Office computer skills (Mostly Excel)

·         Excellent communication skills with strong listening skills.

·         Skilled negotiator with a consultative sales approach who can successfully close sales over the telephone.

·         Develop good working relationships with staff

·         Work well with different departments and customers.

·         Results and deadline driven

·         Relevant Business Qualification but not essential
