An exciting opportunity has come up for a Senior Sales Team Leader (Outbound) to be based at in Umhlanga. This position is responsible for daily reporting of Outbound Sales Department (Pending and Dormant) campaigns. This position will also manage within the department: Sales Team leaders, processes, resources, shifts, compliance, department efficiency and service excellence for the department campaigns. The Senior Sales Team Leader (Outbound) must have new innovations and initiatives for the campaigns within the Outbound department.


Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Computer literate.
  • 2 Years Sales Team Leader / Management Experience within a Contact Centre environment.
  • 2 Years within the Gaming and Betting industry
  • Willingness to do shift and weekend work.

 

Advantageous:

 

  • Experience in supervisory role.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Daily and weekly reporting of targets and overall management for campaign performance.
  • To manage the achievement of targets and department performance in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Staff motivation and retention of Team Members.
  • Ensure adherence to POPI Act.
  • Conduct data analytics on different data (leads) sets in order to guide business on best approach.
  • Implement initiatives to increasingly drive campaign targets.
  • Liaison with marketing team in order to maximise and introduce new scripts for the Team.
  • Understand the business and goals to aligned all approaches to best achieve these goals.
  • Interaction with Star Factory to plan training for team members within the Outbound Team.
  • Facilitate development of the Team within the Outbound department.
  • Work closely with Internal Audits Department to continuously understand where potential risks are. Address these risks and ensure that appropriate interventions are proposed / implemented in order to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure that the Team displays good customer service / sales principles in their dealings with customers and other internal team members / Departments / Branches. 
  • Review internal control procedures to ensure that controls are in place to manage team members / team accountability and to be pro-active in managing and highlighting potential concerns.
  • Ensure that the Company brand and image is promoted through excellent customer service. Conduct regular effective coaching sessions in order to develop Sales Agents.
  • Develop an action plan to increase performance and productivity for under – performing Team Member’s.
  • Ensure quality targets are achieved and interventions are implemented to increase quality where there are shortfalls.  
  • Ensure that the facilities are well maintained and in working condition.
  • Assist with any adhoc projects / tasks that might be required.
  • Implement reporting systems for campaigns.
  • Checking of system on a weekly basis – SMS’s being received by Customers. 
  • Streamline the workflow of campaigns and related functions such as FICA, Customer Services Centre, Deposits and Payment team etc.
  • Good understanding of target LSM groups in order to adapt Outbound campaign approach.
  • Review sales scripts and develop where required to increase conversion rates.
  • Implement initiatives to increasingly drive campaign targets.
  • Any other related duties that might be required.
