A well-established manufacturing company specialising in the production of equipment to the food processing industries, dairy industries and pharmaceutical industries requires the above to be responsible for maximising the company’s sales potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to upper management.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • BS or MS Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Marketing or Technical field or related qualification is essential.

  • Previous experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, is essential.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from cradle to grave is essential.

  • Must have a strong business sense and have industry expertise.

  • Must have excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

  • Must be willing to travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Achieving growth and reaching sales targets by managing the sales processes.

  • Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.

  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

  • Managing objective setting, sales and technical training of client’s, agents, distributors and OEM’s.

  • Identifying new markets for existing products and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status and prices.

  • Controlling expenses within a reasonable level and with approval from management.

  • Presenting weekly sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

  • Presenting weekly marketing and sales visit plans to the management team.
