Employer: ADA Recruitment & HR Solutions

·         Communicate and report on trend and actual data measurement of forecast, abnormal demand and stock agreements

·         Ensure forecast accuracy based on business value chain (demand and supply processes)

·         Manage lowest possible finished goods stock levels by improvement of forecast accuracy.

·         Ensure integration of sales plans with operational schedules to ensure effective customer supply

·         Review market trends for various product portfolios to implement improvement measures

·         Maintain good relations with customers to maintain high standards

  • Manage the central register of all Customer Inventory and Safety Stock (and other order protocols) agreements
  • Provide advice to ensure customer contracts contain the appropriate supply chain management rules of engagement to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and operational stability
  • Together with the Planning Team, provide supply chain, inventory and forecasting expertise in setting up customer order protocols
  • Assist with make-to-order or make-to-forecast decisions including setting up collaborative forecasting processes with customers, setting inventory target levels by customer and SKU

·         Compile annual budgets by SKU category and monitor actual sales vs forecast vs budget

·         Monitor and track material increase trends by category

·         Assist in the price adjustment process by monitoring and tracking material increase trends by category

·         Align with customers and understand their marketing / promotional plans, competitor activity and market trends

·         Manage procedures for measuring and managing forecast error and bias, to include forecast improvement feedback mechanism

·         Work closely with Finance Business support partner for Commercial to ensure standard costing rolled out across Rigids and margin on products maintained

·         Pricing trend analysis rolled out quarterly to Sales Exec team to inform pricing

·         Compilation of key account contracts register to ensure pricing and overhead adjustments done timeously


Candidate Requirements

·         B Com in Marketing or Supply Chain Management or equivalent

·         Proven record of managing diverse product portfolio in FMCG

·         Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills internally and with customers.

·         Market Intelligence with the ability to critically analyse market information to improve performance

·         Efficient in Microsoft Office, JDE, Demantra, Qlickview and would be an advantage

·         Highly driven, tenacious and motivated

·         Independent worker with positive attitude
