Ensuring that STR achieves the predetermined targets / budget

 

Overall responsibility to ensure quality of customer interaction and service (drive customer service

 

 

 

excellence, ensure good communication with customer, developing and fostering partnerships with

 

and tailor-made solutions for clients; evaluation of own development needs and ensuring lack of

 

knowledge / skills are addressed)

 

 

Telesales and maintenance of records / quotes register / advertising

 

Full responsibility to reserve, arrange delivery and collection of and manage overall control of shortterm

 

 

 

fleet units; responsible to schedule, plan and allocate drivers trips daily; responsible for all

 

invoicing pertaining to transport

 

 

Full responsibility to ensure all documentation for the delivery of a forklift is accurate, complete and

 

 

 

properly authorised (e.g. credit applications, signed contracts from clients, customer orders etc.)

 

 

 Full responsibility to manage cash sale account within certain parameters

 

 Invoicing and costing daily

 

 Liaise with debtors regarding accounts for new customers

 

 Responsible for communication with workshop re. preparation of machines prior to delivery

 

 Responsible for all STR maintenance jobs within the Point of Sale module of the Kerridge system.

 Facilitating customer complaints and queries; ensure it is followed through and communicate

 

 

 

process / result to customers; foster and maintain dedication to service excellence in every aspect

 

of work carried out; ensure timeous feedback / communication to customers

 

 

 General assistance to manager as and when required

 


Required Skills

  • finance : 3 to 4 years
  • rental administration : 3 to 4 years

Candidate Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric + minimum of 3 years relevant experience

 

Advanced / Expert Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel

 

Understanding and working knowledge of Kerridge system –must be able to load information and

 

 

 

draw reports

 

 

Knowledge requirements:

 

o Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This

 

 

 

includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and

 

evaluation of customer satisfaction.

 

 

o Knowledge of quality control processes, costs and other techniques for maximizing the

 

 

 

effective storage and distribution of products (equipment and parts)

 

 

o Knowledge of the English language as business communications medium –spelling,

 

 

 

grammar, rules of composition, language structure, etc.

Rental experience a must have

Fleet management expereince a must

Controller expereince

Finance expereince

Must have worked on a Kerridge System
