  • Prospect for new business and develop a qualified pipeline of leads and convert to actual billing sustainable clients.
  • Manage client relationship.
  • Monthly billing and financial reporting.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Represent the UTi brand.
  • Analysis of sales related information and report weekly to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Maintaining client data on CRM.
  • Competitor and industry analysis.
  • Assist in tender/proposal production and delivery.
  • Create sustainable value for customers by adopting an innovative approach to their business.
  • Ensure required monthly and accumulative targets are met Implementation and communication of signed business.
  • Management  of debtors days of signed  clients within the companies requirements.
  • Inter department communication.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Sales distribution environment.
  • Experience in prospecting for new business and achieving new business targets set.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with senior client personnel and colleagues at all levels.
  • Punctuality and good time management skills are elements of this position.
  • Be able to work flexible hours.
  • Disposition to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment/technology.
  • Flexibility in terms of job functions.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and oral).
  • Client empathy and ability to liaise effectively at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
  • Analytical skills - attention to detail.
  • Maturity to handle issues in a logical manner.
  • Ability to consistently produce the numbers in accordance to the target.
