13 tech companies that pay the highest salaries

Information technology and telecommunications are generally well paid, especially in companies where IT is the company’s core business. 

Plus, because of the shortage in engineering, IT and telecommunications skills, top IT employers are always willing to stretch the salaries of professionals with these coveted skills. However, some companies pay more than others. For example, state-owned companies such as Telkom and the SABC, pay higher average salaries than private-owned companies.

A local IT news website conducted some research to find out which IT companies have the highest wealth distributed across employees. The results below reflect the *average annual compensation per employee:
