Chefs Training and Innovation Academy(CTIA) is a prestigious educational institution dedicated to academic excellence. We are seeking a Moderator to ensure the quality and compliance of our curriculum and assessments.
The Moderator will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards in education and fostering a collaborative learning environment. This role involves traveling to our various campuses, including Durban and Mbombela (Nelspruit), with all travel expenses covered according to our travel policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills
- Teaching/Facilitation Experience In A Hospitality Or Culinary Environment : 2 to 3 years
- Moderation Experience In A Hospitality Or Culinary Environment : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Currently residing in Centurion or Stellenbosch or willing to relocate.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Own reliable motor vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Minimum NQF 5 qualification in the hospitality industry.
- Certified to conduct moderation of outcome-based assessments.
Skills:
- Proficient in using computer software and technology.
- Strong administrative and report writing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; capable of articulating ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, essential for evaluating assessments and providing insightful feedback.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to improve the quality of assessments by providing constructive feedback, implementing improvements, provide training and support of the assessment team.
