A Projects Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of project managers and coordinators to deliver projects successfully. Develop team schedules and assist in the successful onboarding and training of team members. Create and communicate a clear list of expectations and goals for team members to follow. Offer emotional support to project team members and make people feel valued.
- Taking care of the budget, documentation, staffing and making sure everyone has a role in the project.
- Define the project scope, goals and deliverables.
§ Communicating new product developments to existing clients, overseeing the development of marketing literature.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Maintaining and developing existing client base, bring clients back to contract introduce new products, and actively leading new sales within each region.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Build relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Assisting with the promotion of the company’s products/services.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales, as needed on CRM.
- Managing and resolving issues as they arise and identifying potential risks and creating plans if they occur.
- Attending to meetings.
- Developing progress reports regarding projects.
- Keep team focused on project goals.
- Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the level of this post as required by the Business Development Manager.
- The Projects Team Leader plays a crucial role in driving project success, team performance, and business growth.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Grade 12
Diploma / Btech Information Management/Computer Science or Project Management
Drivers License & own Vehicle
Required Experience
3-5 years’ experience as a Projects Team Leader
Relevant Experience in Specified Industry, IT Technology and Project Management
Solid Industry Knowledge (eg. IT, Technology, telecommunication etc.), Competitive Knowledge + M
