New Media is looking to appoint a Content Producer to reside within the editorial team servicing a large financial-services client. They will be responsible for generating content as per Editor’s brief, editing and collating syndicated content, and for uploading / managing the content within the CMS.

The successful candidate would be energetic, able to create and process content quickly, and be wide-awake to whatever is trending right now in the financial sector as well as general trends in health and wellness and employee engagement.

The successful candidate will be surrounded by a competent and motivated team at New Media and will be part of creating a brand new, world-class, internal communications solution for an innovative and highly respected brand.

• An appropriate tertiary qualification
• At least 5 years relevant experience
• A proven track record in digital content marketing and production
• Thorough knowledge of the financial sector
• A valid driver’s license and own transport • Strong journalistic skills: writing, editing and proofreading
• Excellent computer skills
• Knowledge of social media channels
• Creative brainstorming and strategic abilities
• Resourcefulness • Working with the Editor/s, creating content for online publication
• Updating content digitally via a content management system on a day-to-day basis
• Managing the process for syndicating content from third party suppliers
• Managing and editing other projects as they arise on the account
• Analysis and reporting of analytics i.e. engagement on website and app
• Researching and writing features, headlines, captions, snippets and other text elements, in line with brand style, across platforms
