Quality Candidate Consultants was founded in July 2015. Even though it is a relatively young recruitment company the founder of the company Wendy Ford has been part of the recruitment industry for the past 10 years. She commenced her recruitment career in Lydenburg Mpumalanga where she worked for a recruitment agency which worked very closely with all the mines in the area. She was appointed Office Manager for the recruitment agency which was on the Two Rivers Platinum Mine when the mine commenced operations. She not only worked closely with Anglo American, Impala Platinum, ARM, Grinaker Mining (AVENG) and DRA but with many sub-contractors. She gained vast experience by placing staff in all categories for the mines.
In 2014 she relocated to Johannesburg where she was headhunted by the biggest privately owned recruitment company. The company were generalists which gave her the opportunity in being able to place candidates in a wider arena. The experience gained was extremely valuable.
QCC’s goal is to have fewer clients so that they are able to spend more time working on their vacancies and in this way is able to place more suitable quality candidates. Their services includes meeting candidates and getting to know them, in this way being able to also ascertain whether the candidate would be a suitable fit for the company. All candidates are interviewed with high attention to detail. Reference checks are recorded verbatim (Telephonically and confidentially) and are included when submitting the candidate curriculum vitae to the client. A minimum of two in-depth reference checks are carried out on all candidates.
