Employer: M3 Human Capital Management

Our client, a well-established logistics and freight forwarding company based in Stellenbosch, is looking for a Documentation Controller to join their operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Opening and maintaining shipment files on internal systems *Capturing consignee instructions and shipment information accurately *Preparing and processing export documentation including PPECB, Phytosanitary Certificates, Certificates of Origin, EUR1s and related documents *Submitting shipping instructions within required deadlines *Liaising with clients, shipping lines, Customs, PPECB and other service providers *Resolving documentation queries and escalating issues where necessary *Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with export requirements *Relevant administration and reporting *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Grade 12 required;
• Relevant qualification in Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Logistics or a related field will be advantageous;
• Minimum 2 years' experience within a Freight Forwarding and Logistics environment;
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace;
• Knowledge of Inttra, Wine Online and customs procedures will be advantageous;
• Experience with export documentation will be advantageous;
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English;
• Valid driver's licence.
