Job Description: Auto Pedigree is looking for a Cashbook controller to join its Head Office in Spartan, Kempton Park. This position is an ideal opportunity for a trustworthy, detail-oriented individual with strong financial administration skills. The role reports directly to the Financial Manager.

Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to process accurate cashbook payments, maintain cashbooks & fixed asset registers.

Minimum Experience:

Knowledge of excel
2 years relevant Finance/Accounting experience desirable

Minimum Qualification:

Grade 12

Minimum Requirements

A code 08 unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
Computer literate

Job Outputs:

Ensure accurate documentation is received for the payout of cashbook items
Ensure compliance with company policies as well as regulatory acts (VAT Act) before processing and payout of cashbook items
Ensure accurate recording of the transaction in the accounting information system
Daily reconciliation of cashbooks
Maintaining fixed asset register
General Ledger recons
Daily receiving and dispatching of Skynet packages
Attending to bank related enquiries such as fuel and petty cash cards
Ad-hoc duties
