Looking for a driver to join our dynamic product distributor business based in Randburg. You will be required to collect and deliver goods from suppliers and customers. Both bulk and small items. Candidate must be willing to do tasks outside of job specification.
- Collecting stock/goods from suppliers
- Checking stock received from supplier matches stock on invoice
- Delivering stock/goods to customers
- Assist supervisor with picking, packing and preparing orders as per company standards
- Keeping workspace as well as company vehicle clean and tidy
- Ensure drums are accessable for sale
- Assisting of moving and loading drums for customers
- Operate company vehicle and equipment with utmost respect and care.
- Ensuring rules of the road are adhered to at all times
- Ensure strapping and tie downs are neatly packed away after each delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Code 8 drivers license
- Be assertive, respectful, level headed and polite to your team and customer
- Honest, trustworthy and reliable
- Keep good communication skills
- Accurate counting of stock when picking, packing and stock takes
- Using packing material economically
- Give suggestions on improving his job function and be a team player
- Represent the company during deliveries and collections in a respectful and professional manner
- Be proactive, assertive and take ownership of tasks given to you by your supervisor and management team
- Comply to company rules and uphold company values
- Experience using a trailer is advantageous
