A well-established and leading food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and passionate Development Technologist to join their laboratory-based team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute new product development (NPD) projects from concept to kitchen scale and final production.

• Conduct laboratory-based testing, trials, and evaluations on new and existing food products.

• Formulate recipes, source raw materials, and optimize ingredients to ensure cost-effectiveness and product stability.

• Ensure all development processes comply with rigorous food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Document precise product specifications, manufacturing procedures, and laboratory reports.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements

• BSc / BTech Degree in Food Science or Food Technology or similar

• Proven experience working in a laboratory environment within the food manufacturing industry, Flavours preferred.

• Strong understanding of food chemistry, preservation techniques, and ingredient functionality.

• Familiarity with food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and precise documentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently in a lab setting and collaboratively within a team.
