Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Assistance to join our team. The person will be responsible for processing payrolls of multiple entities accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure payroll compliance with local regulations
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishees.
- Process new employee paperwork and set up employee payroll information in VIP/Ticker.
- Address employee payroll-related inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed by management
- Assist with year-end payroll processes
Required Skills
- Payroll: 1 to 2 years
- Excel: 2 to 3 years
- Mathematical Ability: 4 to 5 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of payroll systems and software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Exel spreadsheets.
- Drivers License
- Ability to communicate in English
