Pay@, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for a Compliance Administrator to join their growing team based in Stellenbosch. This role will support the compliance function by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a sound understanding of compliance principles, including FICA, KYC, and AML requirements. They possess strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Conduct KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Review, maintain, and assess customer and third-party compliance documentation.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the Risk Management and Compliance Programme (RMCP), including compliance monitoring activities and mini-audits.
• Identify compliance findings and assist with remedial actions and process improvements.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports and due diligence information to regulators, banks, payment networks, business partners, and other third parties.
• Monitor and respond to compliance-related queries and requests.
• Maintain compliance records, registers, and supporting documentation.
• Support compliance training, awareness initiatives, and policy reviews.
• Assist with compliance projects and other duties related to the role.
Minimum requirements:
• Relevant qualification in Compliance, Law, AML / KYC Risk Management, or a related field;
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a compliance, regulatory, risk, or administrative role;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
• Previous experience within the financial services, payments, fintech, or regulated environment will be advantageous;
• Fluent in business English; additional languages will be beneficial;
• Own reliable transport.
