Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Cold Calling Agent to join our growing financial advisory practice. This role is essential in generating new business opportunities by proactively engaging with potential clients and introducing them to our range of financial solutions, including Life Cover, Investments, Insurance, and Discovery-related offerings.
The ideal candidate is confident, professional, target-driven, and skilled in building rapport quickly over the phone.
Required Skills
- Telesales: 1 to 2 years
- Cold Calling: 1 to 2 years
- Telesales Marketing: 1 to 2 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in cold calling, telesales, or outbound sales (financial services experience advantageous)
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills
- Strong ability to handle rejection and remain persistent
- Fluency in English (additional South African languages advantageous)
- Computer literate, with experience using CRM systems preferred
- Self-motivated with strong discipline and work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients using provided leads and databases
- Introduce and position our financial advisory services clearly and professionally
- Identify client needs and qualify potential prospects for financial consultations
- Schedule appointments for Financial Advisors with qualified leads
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems
- Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly calling targets
- Handle objections effectively and maintain a positive, professional attitude
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards when engaging with prospects
