The operation has expanded rapidly in recent years, supported by modern cold-room and packing facilities. We are now looking for an experienced Farm Production Manager to join the team and play a leading role in taking production to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of production: planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease management, harvesting, and post-harvest coordination.
• Develop and implement production plans that meet yield, quality, cost, and sustainability targets.
• Lead and supervise production teams, including permanent and seasonal staff, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability and food-safety standards, including IPM, irrigation scheduling, and nutrient management best practices.
• Collaborate with the packhouse and logistics teams to align harvest volumes and timing with market demands.
• Monitor crop performance through KPIs and report regularly to senior management.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital projects such as irrigation upgrades or substrate system installations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and blueberry varietal developments, applying new methods to improve efficiency and outcomes.
