General Manager

Our client is looking for a strategic and dynamic General Manager to oversee and coordinate the administrative operations of the organization. This role plays a central part in team leadership, process optimization, and upholding high service standards.

📍 Location: Pretoria East
💰 Salary: R40,000 + (depending on experience)
📈 Available Positions: 2
👉 Start Date: As soon as possible

🗂 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the administration team to ensure efficient daily execution.

  • Oversee document management, reporting, record-keeping, and office coordination.

  • Develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures.

  • Monitor productivity and performance using key metrics.

  • Provide mentorship and performance management to team members.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Handle escalations and support departments with issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with other department heads to improve operational efficiency.

  • Manage vendor relationships and procure administrative resources.

  • Prepare accurate and timely departmental reports.

🎓 Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative management or office operations.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and administrative tools (task management software is a plus).

  • Leadership capabilities and experience in performance management.

  • Bachelor’s degree or tersiary qualification in a relevant field; postgraduate qualification preferred.

🗂 Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Lei en bestuur die administrasiespan vir doeltreffende daaglikse uitvoering.

  • Oorsig oor dokumentbestuur, verslagdoening, rekordhouding, en kantoor-koördinering.

  • Ontwikkel en handhaaf administratiewe stelsels en prosedures.

  • Monitor produktiwiteit en prestasie aan die hand van sleutelmaatstawwe.

  • Voorsien mentorskap en prestasiebestuur aan spanlede.

  • Verseker nakoming van interne beleide en regulatoriese vereistes.

  • Hanteer eskalasies en ondersteun interne afdelings met probleemoplossing.

🎓 Posvereistes:

  • Bewese ervaring in administratiewe bestuur of kantoorbedryf.

  • Uitstekende beplanning en organisasievaardighede.

  • Sterk kommunikasie- en probleemoplossingsvermoë.

  • Vaardigheid in MS Office en administratiewe stelsels (taakbestuursagteware is ’n voordeel).

  • Leierskapvermoë en ondervinding in prestasiebestuur.

  • Baccalareursgraad of 'n tersiêre kwalifikasie in 'n verwante veld; nagraadse kwalifikasie is ’n voordeel.
