A leading chemical solutions and manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Junior Laboratory Technician with a passion for analytical testing, quality control, and laboratory operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to grow their technical skills within a fast-paced laboratory environment. If you have experience with sample preparation, routine lab analysis, and maintaining accurate documentation, we would like to hear from you!

• Conduct routine laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures.
• Accurately prepare, label, and analyse samples as required.
• Record and maintain all laboratory data, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Assist in calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Support quality control activities and identify any deviations or abnormalities.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised laboratory environment.
• Assist senior technicians with research, product testing, and project-related tasks.

• Matric with Mathematics and Science.
• A qualification in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or a related field (advantageous).
• Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in manufacturing, chemical, or analytical settings.
• Strong understanding of basic laboratory practices and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality compliance.
