About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and proactive Junior Depot Manager to join our client in the transport and freight industry. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the depot, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Depot Manager in coordinating transport and logistics activities.
Supervise loading, offloading, and dispatch operations.
Monitor fleet schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Manage staff performance and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Maintain accurate inventory and operational records.
Liaise with clients, drivers, and internal departments to resolve queries efficiently.
Assist in reporting, cost control, and continuous process improvement.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2–3 years’ experience in a logistics, transport, or depot operations environment.
Strong communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (written and verbal).
Professional demeanor with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Computer literate (MS Office, logistics software experience advantageous).
