Branch Manager

Masterparts is a large automotive spares wholesaler and retailer that has been trading for fifty years. We are seeking individuals passionate about the automotive industry to join our team at our new branch, opening soon in Randburg. The branch manager is responsible for:

Ensure the branch meets the company's profit targets.
Ensure we provide the best possible customer service.
Resolving technical claims and customer complaints.
Ensure the branch meets Masterparts standards.
Managing the stock at the branch.
Ensuring there are no stock losses.
Manage the branch sales, ensure the sales team performs optimally, and maintain our company standards.
Manage staff at the branch, ensuring all employees are motivated, performing optimally, and maintaining a positive working environment.
Ensuring all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
Managing the company premises' maintenance, repairs, general appearance, and external areas.
Manage legislative health and safety, firefighting, and first aid compliance, and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage the company's vehicles and motorcycles, ensuring they are serviced and maintained correctly.
Ad hoc duties as needed.

Required Skills

Management: 5 to 6 years
Automotive Parts Sales: 10 years or more

Candidate Requirements

Managerial experience at a busy automotive parts shop is beneficial.
At least ten years of Parts Sales experience in counter and telesales in the aftermarket.
Excellent computer and systems knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of the different automotive parts brands.
Excellent mechanical and technical knowledge.
Excellent leadership and people management ability.
A firm understanding of stock control and managing a medium-sized warehouse.
You must be able to comprehend, speak, and write professional English. A good understanding of Afrikaans is beneficial.
