A well established firm based in Kenilworth is looking for a Senior Accountant

Duties:

Supervising a monthly accounting department
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
Timely submission of statutory returns
Assisting clients with accounting and software support
Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements using IFRS for SMEs
Dealing with clients and correspondence
Managing and training junior staff and SAIPA trainees
Being able to lead staff with self-confidence, self-motivation and a positive attitude

Requirements::

Pastel Partner and Sage One Experience
Xero experiences advantageous
Caseware knowledge
Highly computer literate in Outlook, Word and Excel
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles or similar experience
Companies and individual tax knowledge essential
Previous experience in a similar environment
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, take responsibility and accountability
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Own Transport (including valid Sa drivers’ license)
