A leading supplier of biodegradable food packaging in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Stock and Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse and logistics operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with strong leadership and operational capabilities to ensure the smooth running of warehouse processes, manage stock control, coordinate logistics, and drive overall efficiency and service excellence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse management, supply chain operations, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including stock control, dispatch, and receiving.
• Manage logistics operations, including courier and 3rd party vendor coordination.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee WMS and inventory systems.
• Lead, develop, and manage warehouse staff, including delegation and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Monitor customer service standards within dispatch and service operations.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and workflow inefficiencies.
• Prepare reports and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum Matric with at least 2 years’ proven experience in a warehouse management/supervisory role.
• Logistics or supply chain qualification.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations; experience with food packaging is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and 3rd party vendor management skills.
• Team management skills, with the ability to delegate, develop, and discipline staff.
• Proficiency in WMS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
