DUTIES:

Accounting & Audit Support

• Assist in preparing financial statements in line with IFRS

• Perform reconciliations and verify financial transactions

• Participate in external audits: planning, fieldwork, and reporting

Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and submit tax returns under supervision

• Perform tax calculations and ensure regulatory compliance

• Maintain working papers aligned with SAICA standards

Client Engagement

• Liaise with clients to gather documentation and clarify queries

• Build professional relationships and understand client needs

General Admin & Reporting

• Manage debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations

• Check invoices and support financial managers during audits

• Compile supporting documentation for financial reports

Training & Development

• Work under qualified Chartered Accountants

• Receive mentorship and structured technical training

• Uphold SAICA’s ethical and professional standards
