Our client, a reputable software development company based in Durban (DBN), is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent, in-office role (some flexibility may be possible) offering a competitive salary package based on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions using C# .NET, Vue.js, and Azure cloud technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers, all while driving excellence in software development.

Requirements:

·        Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

·        Strong expertise in C# and the .NET Framework with solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.

·        Proven experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js (React or Angular experience is a plus).

·        Hands-on experience architecting and building Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, with knowledge of microservices architecture.

·        Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for high-quality software delivery.

·        Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers while upholding best practices and coding standards.

Desirable:

·        Experience with legacy system refactoring and cloud readiness improvements.
