Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accurate financial records for the business, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Prepare and process financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Handle monthly and annual reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax laws.
• Assist with financial audits and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions to the relevant authorities.
• Liaise with internal departments to provide financial analysis and support.
• Assist with the implementation of financial controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Process payments and manage supplier accounts.
