Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Candidate Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Contractor's team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer eager to gain hands-on experience in electrical system design, testing, and implementation. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers/consultants and contribute to various projects, including power systems, electronics, control systems, and infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

• Support the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.

• Conduct site inspections, data collection, and performance evaluations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and software engineers.

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Participate in troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and failure analysis.

• Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Internship or cooperative education experience in electrical engineering is a plus.

• Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or similar).

• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and safety standards.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Work Environment:

• Office and occasional field/site work.

• Must be able to travel to job sites as needed.

• May involve occasional lifting of equipment and working in various weather conditions.
