Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Partnerships Director to take a lead role in building
their partnerships and channel management function. The role includes engaging with new partners and maintaining partner relationships to ensure they are an effective channel bringing in new business, as well as ensuring that partners are effectively integrated into their business operations.
Furthermore, this person will be responsible for engaging with their partners and other industry players
to educate them on what the company does, how they can benefit their clients, with the ultimate goal of
improving working relationships and obtaining client referrals. They want to build their network and brand in the market, so overall presence at events and roundtables and assistance in developing suitable content for the market is required.
Main duties include:
Work with the MD to set the partnership strategy.
Identify and agree on a target list of referral partners (including reviewing existing partners).
Secure and implement new partnership agreements with new partners.
Manage new and existing partnership relationships, including continuous management to maximize ongoing benefits from partnerships and continuous prospect referrals.
Plan educational sessions for industry groups to educate them on the service offering.
Planning and hosting partner and client networking events.
Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Constant work to maximize relationships with partners through joint sales efforts, publications, etc.
Building the brand through event attendance, publishing content, showcasing capabilities and networking in the market.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
Required Skills:
Previous experience in partnerships in the SaaS industry.
At least 5 years in partnerships with a proven track record of engaging with and maintaining partner relationships.
Strong network and existing contacts in the ERP and EMS community. (preferable but not essential).
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as communication skills.
Proactive, creative, and highly motivated approach to achieving results.
Willing to travel as needed.
