seeking a skilled and dynamic Finance Manager to join a team specializing in recruitment within the mining sector.
The role requires someone with the ability and willingness to engage directly with clients and provide valuable financial insights.
Minimum Requirements:
CA (SA), ACCA or CGMA preferred.
5 or more years’ experience in a similar role (excluding articles if applicable).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and advanced accounting principles.
Proficiency in Sage and advanced Excel skills.
Mining sector experience preferred.
Fluency in French preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
Ability to work UK business hours (Flexible).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and management reports.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial transactions.
Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with department heads to align financial and operational goals.
Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and tax authorities.
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations, including the OHADA Uniform Act.
Lead financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Assist in client meetings to clarify financial aspects and resolve queries.
Implement tax planning strategies and ensure accurate tax submissions.
