Westfalia Fruit Products situated in Kempton Park (Ripe for you), has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experiencedProduction Supervisor

This role will be reporting to theOperations Manager,

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Operations managers in the management of Ripe for you facility
• Assist in actioning all necessary procedures and protocols
• Executing, and maintaining health and safety and food safety policies and production and also productivity management

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Matric, qualification in production
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisor role
• Must be able to handle extensive administrative activities related to production
• Valid driver's licence and own transport

Knowledge:

• Fresh Produce knowledge is essential, added advantage (Avocado and Mango handling experience)
• Knowledge on stock control is essential
• Production planning knowledge
• Sound knowledge of production fundamentals
• Administrative activities related to production
• Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• HR / IR knowledge essential
