A growing SME investment firm seeks an experienced Post-Investment Management Associate to join their dynamic and hard-working team based in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.

The successful candidate will manage and grow a portfolio of high growth, early stage impact investments for the Social Venture Capital Funds. You must be able to run with the daily portfolio management responsibilities with little or no oversight.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Portfolio management
Financial analysis and modeling
Strategy development
Execution management
Raising capital
Governance
Growth support
Monitoring and compliance
Legal

Education:

Qualified CA(SA) essential

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 5 years venture capital experience, preferably in the post-investment environment
Valuation modeling experience is essential
Advanced Microsoft Excel and modeling skills essential
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Business and financial acumen
Meticulous attention to detail
Able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports
Good oral and written communication skills
Apply analytical and creative thinking
Ability to handle various complex assignments
