Job Description:
An energy solutions company seeks a Internal Sales Representative who can manage and maintain sales within a specific geographic area, working closely with both clients and the internal sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of the company's energy products and the ability to communicate technical information effectively. The representative would be expected to build strong relationships with local clients, ensuring their needs are met while identifying new sales opportunities within the region. Strong organizational skills are needed to manage orders, track sales, and support the external sales team. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting would be essential, as well as the ability to meet regional sales targets while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as internal sales support for pre-defined geographical
locations.
• Work closely with the Accounts Department to ensure effective
management of customer credit accounts.
• Providing general product information to customers
• Forward customer queries to appropriate persons for execution.
• Generate sales by liaising with current customers and following
new customer leads.
• Take calls for orders, and process invoices and payments for
product dispatch.
• Process and maintain warranty claims.
• Manage customer credit limits so it does not exceed the
limit.
Candidate Requirements
Skills,Qualifications & Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Battery knowledge will be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP system (SYSPRO) will be advantageous.
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills are essential.
• Admin and telesales experience and or any other experience
that demonstrates similar abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Good customer service
• Professional communication and people skills at all
organizational levels, demonstrating an ability to develop and
grow good customer and internal relationships.
• A passion for selling and generating new business,
• Strong negotiation skills with good commercial acumen,
• A result-oriented problem solver, with proven numeracy and
computer literacy (MS Office)
• Well-organised
• Self-motivated
• Fast, accurate data entry skills.
• Strong Interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under my initiative and work efficiently as
part of a team.
• Flexible, courteous, friendly, and positive approach.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Both verbal and written)
• Experience with ERP system (SYSPRO) will be advantageous.
